Jaguardini

Jaguardini treats music like a science project, combining the sounds of old video games and synthesizers to create a live blend of lofi synthpop and energetic dark wave. Christo manipulates a gameboy, a vocoder, synths, and an electric guitar with a CRT TV set on his head. Influenced by Crystal Castles, Pink Floyd, The Cure, Ghostland Observatory, Beethoven, Ladytron, MGMT, and Disasterpeace.

GLITTER SKULLS

Chris Knight performs live electronic music under the name Glitter Skulls Techno. His mind-melting improvised performances draw on trance-inducing rhythms with chaotically-generated melodies and bass lines. Advancing and receding walls of delicate yet destructive filtered noise, and lush digital reverb surround his live-mixed compositions. His soundscapes consume audiences into folds of space-time, transporting them to undiscovered multiverses. Knight’s technical process involves combining influence from West-coast modular synthesis, NYC hardcore and Detroit-style techno drum machine work. An engineer at heart, Knight is continuously building and customizing his own modular performance system, "The Techno Garden". His experimental hardware-based performance regularly travels to DIY festivals and events in the Northeast US including Mad Liberation Festival (NJ), Yallapunk (PA), Grassroots Festival of Music and Dance (NY), and the Dark DIY festival (NYC).

Chris Knight is a community arts organizer and electronic music performer based in Ithaca, NY. Knight has been a long time organizer in the Ithaca music community as an event planner and board member of Ithaca Underground. Through Ithaca Underground he works to provide all ages spaces where alternative and experimental music can thrive. He focuses on developing the talents of local early-career performers of underrepresented backgrounds and identities, who produce art and music across the boundaries of traditional genres. As a music educator he has given workshops in modular synthesis and electronic music theory and practice at the Ithaca DJ Festival, Ithaca Underground Summer School, and Yallapunk (PA). He is currently a resident and organizer of the Microtones Collective in Ithaca, NY

HOLLINGS

Hollings realized her love of singing at the age of 5, chasing the setting sun in the forest in south Georgia. She was trained in choirs and a magnet arts high school in Atlanta, which led to performing with Josh Groban. Her first band Beat the Grid was formed with cellist & producer Daniel Frankhuizen and other Ithaca College music students in upstate NY. A funky dance-rock blend of afrobeat and spacey jazz, their first self-titled album was released in 2013, and promoted by AAM, Inc. They performed around NYC from 2012-2015.

For the last 8 years, Hollings has regularly performed with rock, electronic, and reggae projects (such as The Crucials, feat. members of John Brown's Body, Jimkata, Giant Panda Guerilla Dub Squad), lent vocals & writing to electronic & hip-hop recordings with Ethereal, Made Groceries, Glass Meadow, and others. Her vocals are featured on soundscape artist Nathan Moody's recent album A Shadow No Light Could Make.

Hollings paints an eclectic rock dream with haunting layered vocals, R & B rhythms, shimmery synths, and storytelling instrumentals in her 1st EP Necromancing. It's a call to the unseen forces -- ancestors, nature’s rhythms, and glimpses of the self through layers of conflicted perceptions. The cinematic sound was co-produced by Dana Billings and features players from Big Mean Sound Machine and the Hudson River Valley.
