Plug and play style, Childs' band will be performing original songs he's been writing for the last 10 years. Some you've heard, some you haven't, and some that will never be recorded outside of this show.

A powerhouse group, his 9-piece band produces a sound unlike any other in the area bringing a lively blend of genres and intimate songwriting to the stage. Native to Ithaca, NY, Max Childs is a songwriter who blends sounds from pop, rock and soul music. Since forming his band in 2015, Childs has performed across New York state headlining and supporting artists such as Danielle Ponder, Juice, West End Blend, Bella's Bartok, and The Comb Down.

In addition to his own music, Max performed regularly with The Crucials and has been seen nationally with Uma Galera, Nahko and Medicine for the People, Domino Saints, Kevin Kinsella, and more.

Childs also performed with Doe Paoro, a Los Angeles-based songwriter. As her keyboardist, the two toured together supporting Son Little in 2017 and The Gypsy Kings in 2018.

In 2022 Max Childs won the "Band Contest" at the 30th Annual Fingerlakes Grassroots Festival resulting in two performances at the 2023 festival.
