After many years behind bars, the Newman Brothers finally get to play at one again thanks to their insanely famous and rich friends, Well Worn Boot - a freakishly unique rock band from Buffalo.

This Newman Brothers grew up as farm children in Enfield, NY and have been playing music together since prepubescent times. They were very active in the Ithaca music scene in the early 2010s, but eventually imploded when they grew to 18+ members on stage around 3 years into their chaotic and funky run.

Within those 3+ years the Newmans became a peculiar but beloved ambassador to Ithaca's music scene, and made friends with some pretty cool touring projects along the way (Hank & Cupcakes, Mephiskapheles, What Cheer!, Mr. Boneless, Well Worn Boot, Seth Faergolzia). After the band split, their band leader Podunk continued to host shows under the name Newman Bros Presents to keep their finger on the pulse of the music scene they loved and cared about so deeply.

2024 will be a fairly active year for the Newmans! The biggest piece of the pie will be in regards to their children's album Camping Trip! they released back in 2014. A 10 year anniversary re-release of the album will include an alternate ending with 2 additional songs, and a read-along/sing-along version of the album with a 25 page illustrated children's book.
